Bella Thank you's

A close friend needs 15 thank you cards-here are the 1st 4 I've done.

Random creations

Just needed to restock my cards-here are a few I made this weekend.

This first one is pretty simple-used Seaside Sketches from SU-colored it in and tied a ribbon on the top.

And some little girls birthday cards...used some Greeting Farm images my sister stamped for me.

A couple of more masculine or fall birthday cards...Upsy Daisy (SU) and Lovely as a Tree (SU).

Lovely as a Tree

I love this old SU set-came out years ago but is still in the book. I think it is so versatile-I use it for male birthday, sypmathy and even Christmas. Here are a few I did yesterday.

Drawer boxes for Teaghan Olivia Barker Benefit

My girlfriend's 3 year old god daughter Teaghan has cancer and she is holding a benefit Aug 15, 2010 at the Roselawn in New York Mills, NY.

I am making some items for the Chinese Auction-these are 2 of the card boxes I made. The idea came from Splitcoaststampers-here is the link:

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/drawerbox/

I was only able to get 5 cards and envelopes in so I am hoping I'll get time to make some more. 1 filled with birthday cards & 1 filled with Christmas cards. Tried to keep them simple so they would appeal to the most people.

Here is the christmas one-note the ribbon "handle". And a little glam on the top.

This one was filled with the birthday cards.

I'm also making some altered composition books as school is right around the corner.

Crocheted Trim

Made this card today with some crocheted & pearl trim I picked up at Walmart. Alot cheaper than the SU new trim.

Skaneateles Lake

Last Saturday we drove to Auburn and come home by Route 20-went thru beautiful Skaneateles & Cazenovia. Here are some pictures we took in Skaneateles.

This mommy duck-I think my husband said she is a Teal-had quite a few babies-here are some pics of the babies.

I can't believe it's been a month  since I posted. My best friend's husband died unexpectedly a month ago and I made an emergency trip to North Carolina to be with her. Seems like since I got back life has been very hectic. We had our 2nd driveway put in (thanks to Dan Brown and my husband) for a great job-no more having to lug groceries up the steep hill to the back door.

My meager little flower garden is very pretty right now-here are some pictures of my irises.

Marissa's Creations

I had Marissa, my friend Robin's daughter, for the weekend. These are some of her creations.

A card for her teacher who is returning from maternity leave.

and a daisy card

She also used my Cuttlebug & PTI die cut to make these cute flowers

and the reason I have Marissa is that her brother Ryan is involved in traveling basketball so he is away this weekend. She made him this basketball guy in his colors & with his number and the phrase Hoops from my Cricut Sports Mania card.

And now for a little humor!

My sister Jewel picked up these stamps at the Altamont Stamping & Scrapbook expo last weekend-they are just too cute.

This one I colored in with copics & layered with SU Perfect Plum then a scrap with some glitter on it.

OK-this little old lady reminds me a little of Fran Dreschers Mother in her TV show-The Nanny. I just went a little extreme with the hair!

a little hard to see but the "fur" is glitzed up with SU Iridescent Ice.

and my favorite one-this robust secretary kills me! Colored with copics to match the background paper. The inside reads "I may not be a size 6...but I can decorate what I've got!!"

Baby cards

Here are a few baby cards using SU Bundle of Joy. Used SU markers, Apricot Appeal to layer & then a scrap. The Background paper is from Debbie Mumm Noah's Ark. 4 little sage green pearls for bling.

Used bright colors on this & background is DCWV glitter paper. SU apricot appearl & bermuda bay markers used.

SU Regal Rose & So Saffron paper used along with a scrap from PTI Everyday Blessings. Also used Marvy Uchida Scalloped Oval punches.

And this last one is the little bear from Bundle of Joy-colored him in with my SU Creamy Caramel marker, layered using the Nestabilities Label 2 with white & SU Blush Blossom.

A few Mother's Day Cards using Bella stamps.

Here are 3 more Mother's Day cards using bella's. First one is Craveabella-used copics, SU Perfect Plum to layer & the background dotted paper is a scrap. Prima flower with a little pearl center.

Next one is with Minivanabella--so cute with all the little kiddies! Colored with copics, layered on SU Melon Mambo, Perfect Plum ribbon & same scrap for background-primar & pearl center.

Used SU Apricot Appeal to layer the copic colored image-background is a scrap. Not sure about the flower-I know it is not a prima. Note how the shopping bag on the left I stamped the image again & cut out this bag on a little piece of patterned paper.

And this last one is Daisybella-used copics to color, Melon Mambo to layer, scrap for background. Daisy center is a Michael's Dollar Spot bling. SU punches (Scalloped Circle, 1/28" circle & 1/2" circle)
